A Truck Dashcam Built for the Cloud

Built-in 4G LTE connectivity makes connecting to the Cloud hassle-free.

Dual Full HD 1080p cameras (front 60 / rear 30 frames per second) provide fluid videos of the front and back of your vehicle.
View angle: front camera: 139 degrees; rear camera: 116 degrees.
STARVIS imaging sensors—a reference in video clarity under low light—equip both front and rear cameras, so whether you are driving or parked, crucial details are captured perfectly.

STARVIS is a trademark of Sony Corporation.

The DR770X-2CH TRUCK LTE is a Cloud dash cam with built-in LTE and waterproof rear camera.

The rear camera is connected by a 15-meter (49ft) video cable so you can mount it externally on a variety of trucks and heavy vehicles.

Best image quality night and day with Full HD Sony STARVIS™ image sensors front and rear.

Easy Cloud connectivity with built-in Nano SIM card reader*, making it a dash cam of choice for commercial vehicle protection and fleet tracking.

Effortless set up with the BlackVue App.

(*) Data plan not included. BlackVue SIM card included in select models.

Infrared External Rear Camera

With Rugged Metal Waterproof Casing

With its metal waterproof casing the rear camera of the DR770X-2CH TRUCK is built to withstand most weather conditions. Its Ingress Protection rating (IP69K) means it can even withstand power washing. It is designed to be installed at the rear of trucks or heavy vehicles. We recommend securing it in place on a flat surface using the provided screws. The luminosity sensor detects ambient brightness and automatically activates the six infrared lights to help identify vehicles and objects in the dark.

WATERPROOF COAXIAL CABLE

The 15m (49ft) high-quality waterproof coaxial cable connects the front and rear cameras.

The waterproof rear camera and the coaxial cable are screwed together to provide tight and water-resistant connection.

Its length makes it ideal for trucks and trailers and guarantees a pristine image even over long distance.

Mobile Hotspot Fuction

Turn your BlackVue into a Wi-Fi router for your car

With Mobile Hotspot Function, your compatible BlackVue can now turn into a mobile internet router for up to five devices concurrently. This means you and your passengers can now use your BlackVue’s internet on your laptop, portable game console, tablet or mobile.

To connect to the BlackVue, simply open your devices’ Wi-Fi menu, select the BlackVue and enter the dashcam’s Wi-Fi password.

Native Parking Mode

Hardwiring cable included
DR770X Series can be hardwired to your vehicle’s fuse panel for Parking Mode, without requiring optional accessories. The dashcam will switch to Parking Mode automatically when vehicle ignition is turned off. Voltage cutoff and timer can be set in the BlackVue App.

Parking Mode accessories support
DR770X Series is also compatible with all BlackVue Parking Mode Kits and Batteries.

LTE, Wi-Fi and GPS All Built-in

GNSS (GPS+GLONASS)

Speed: speed data will be overlaid in the video (can be turned off in the settings).
You can set speed display in Kilometers per hour (Km/h) or Miles per hour (Mph).
Location: visualize your vehicle’s location in the BlackVue App or Viewer’s Map.

Connect to your dashcam over Wi-Fi or the Cloud

Wi-Fi lets you connect to your BlackVue with a smartphone or tablet.
LTE gives you access to your BlackVue over the Cloud from anywhere, anytime.

Seamless Pairing with the BlackVue App

Effortless setup.

Simply connect to your dashcam without leaving the BlackVue App. With Seamless Pairing, setting up your dashcam is a breeze. Just power the dashcam, then easily connect from the BlackVue app and follow the simple instructions.

Whether you want to browse your dashcam’s files and settings or connect your dashcam to the Cloud, Seamless Pairing makes everything easy and intuitive.

Your videos are safe

Event Files Overwrite Protection: dashcams record in a loop, overwriting older files when the memory is full. BlackVue can prevent Event files (triggered manually or by impacts) overwriting. Up to fifty-one (51) files can be protected this way (17 minutes Front/Rear/Interior). You can choose to allow new Event files to overwrite past Event files, thus keeping the latest fifty-one.

Adaptive Format-Free File Management: this BlackVue-developed file system improves recording stability and requires less microSD card formatting.

SD Card Failure Alert: your BlackVue detects as soon as the microSD card fails and warns you with a “Please check SD card” voice alert.

Built-in Impact & Motion Detection

Speaker: your dashcam tells you when it turns on, shuts down or detects errors.
Accelerometer: detects impacts to trigger Event recording. Triggers Parking Mode* when stationary for 5 minutes.
Automatically tags video files: while driving, the built-in accelerometer (G-sensor) detects impacts and sudden changes in speed. While parked, your BlackVue also detects visual movements around your vehicles.
Use the filters in the BlackVue App and Viewer: BlackVue tags all videos (Normal, Event, Parking Mode, etc.), so that you can filter them and quickly find the ones you need in the BlackVue Viewer (Windows, Mac OS, Web) or the BlackVue App (Android, iOS).

(*) Parking Mode Kit or Battery is required. Learn more about Parking Mode.

Set up (easily) and forget

BlackVue dashcams are very easy to install. Attach the front unit to the windshield behind the rear view mirror with the provided double-sided tape.
This way, the dashcam is invisible to the driver’s eye. Simply plug the power cords into the cigarette lighter / accessory power socket of your vehicle and it will automatically start recording as you turn ignition on (no need to push any button).
Once set, you can forget about it, knowing it will reliably record your drive.

With the SD Card Viewer, connect your dashcam’s microSD card to your computer to view and backup footage in bulk, as well as export clips, remove sound, etc.

High Frame Rate for Extra Fluidity

The advantage of 60FPS video capture

The front camera records extra fluid videos at 60 frames per second, keeping all details sharp even in fast action. With 60fps, motion blur is much reduced compared to 30fps. That means your BlackVue can better capture details–like license plates–even in fast-moving objects.

Note 1: the higher the image quality setting, the higher the bitrate and the bigger the file size. A bigger size will increase the time necessary to transfer a video file over Wi-Fi.

Note 2: Remote Live View using BlackVue Cloud is not affected by the image quality and framerate settings.
